Changing Power Steering Fluid in Your Suzuki Ertiga (Models 2018+)

🔧 Step-by-Step

1. Cold Engine & Safety

    • Ensure the vehicle is off and cooled down to prevent burns.
    • Optionally, pawl up front wheels to ease hose access.

2. Remove Old Fluid

    • Extract old fluid from the reservoir using a syringe or turkey baster.
    • Optional: Disconnect the thinner “return” hose to drain remaining fluid into a container.

3. Cap & Refill

    • Cover the disconnected hose to avoid spills.
    • Refill reservoir up to the “MAX” mark using a funnel.

4. Cycle Steering

    • Start engine and turn wheel from lock to lock several times to circulate new fluid.
    • Old fluid will discharge from hose—top up reservoir as needed.

5. Finish & Inspect

    • Once fresh fluid flows, stop engine, reconnect hose, and refill to proper level.
    • Remove jack and inspect for any leaks.
